According to the magazine, Noble Cause stood out among more than 700 publishers and 1,200 entered titles in this year’s awards program.
The Civil War novel, published in 2011, is also the winner of the coveted John Esten Cooke Award for Southern Fiction and the Next Generation Award for Regional Fiction. It was also a Finalist in the USA Best Books 2011 contest in the Historical Fiction category.
